Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, witnessed yesterday the activities of the closing ceremony of the eighteenth session of the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Excellence organized by the Chamber Abu Dhabi Trade and Industry at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.
During the ceremony, 23 governmental and private bodies from the award-winning companies and institutions were honored, through their diamond, gold and silver categories, in which the participation rate increased by 30% over the previous session.
The ceremony was also witnessed by Saeed Abdul Jalil Al-Fahim, Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Award, Mohammed Thani Murshid Al-Rumaithi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, Mohammed Hilal Al-Muhairi, Director General of the Chamber and a large crowd of senior officials and departments, and a number of ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries to the state and representatives of companies and institutions.
Saeed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Excellence, confirmed during his opening speech to the ceremony that the award is completed this year with steady and confident steps in the eighteenth session, and we recall its first launch under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect and sponsor him, in the year 1999, patronage and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
Al-Fahim pointed out that the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Excellence has become a high-rise scientific platform and an integrated development program for human and institutional development, and the transfer of best practices in various development areas, as it has become a focus and an attractive point for local institutions in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the UAE in general, in addition to the distinguished regional institutions in the sisterly countries of the Cooperation Council And the Middle East in general.
He added: “We anticipate preparing for the next fifty years, enlightened by the guidance and visions of our wise leadership that calls for leadership in all fields, and issues global competitive lists in sustainable economic and social development, raising the human efficiency of all citizens of the state, deepening institutional effectiveness and achieving happiness for all citizens and residents on the territory of our state. Al-Fahim pointed out that the current eighteenth session of the award witnessed huge booms and qualitative shifts in the numbers of participants in quantity and quality, as the increase from inside and outside the country reached more than 30% compared to previous years, and more than 50% in similar local and international prizes, and for evaluation and arbitration work, Over 220 residents, half of them UAE citizens, participated in the course.
The final formation of the Supreme Arbitration Authority came to include the most important local, regional and international institutions, starting with the Dubai Government Excellence Program, the Sharjah Award for Excellence, the Emirati Auditors Association locally, the Saudi Quality Association, the King Abdullah Center for Excellence in Jordan regionally, the European Foundation for Quality Management, and the British Quality Authority globally, and it is perhaps the first time that In it, such a distinguished representation is formulated from all these international and local legal bodies, and through people who are recognized for their competence and professionalism, and all of this undoubtedly adds to the reputation and status of the award and enhancing its credibility and absolute neutrality, and has the best local, regional and global practices.
At the end of his speech, the Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Award extended his sincere thanks, appreciation and gratitude to the wise leadership for their unlimited support for this award, and for His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his presence and honor this annual national wedding of excellence and excellence.
He also thanked all the winning companies and institutions for their attendance and distinguished participation in the award’s activities and programs for this year, and the evaluation and arbitration committees for their rich and sustainable efforts in support of this important national program, as well as thanks to the Abu Dhabi Chamber and the Organizing Committee and all who contributed to the success of this session and its exit in this gorgeous garment.
He announced the start of the nineteenth session of the award, inviting all those wishing to participate to register their names in the prize office in the Abu Dhabi Chamber.
At the end of the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Saeed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Award, and Mohammed Thani Murshid Al Rumaithi, Chairman of the Board of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, and Mohamed Hilal Al Muhairi, Director General of the Chamber, delivered certificates of honor to the winners of the Sheikh Khalifa Award For franchising and taking memorial photos.
The ceremony also witnessed the launch of the smart platform of the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Excellence, which was recently developed to facilitate horizontal and vertical communication between the evaluation teams and the award office in the room on the one hand, and between them and the jury and the Higher Committee of the award on the other hand, and this platform is considered the first of its kind locally and regionally, and is used in Manage similar and distinct award-winning programs.
Dubai Economy wins the Golden Circle
The Department of Economic Development, Dubai for the government sector, won the gold category of the Khalifa Award for Excellence, and the retail division of Yanbu in the Saudi Aramco for the oil sector, and the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank for the financial sector, and the Al Ain Zoo for the tourism sector, and Al Rahba Hospitals for the health sector, and Falcon Company Buck on the industrial sector.
The Diamond Award was won by Al Ain Hospitals affiliated with SEHA. At the silver level of the award, the Riyadh Chamber won for the government sector, the Planning and Survey Department in Sharjah for the government service sector, the Trans Guard Dubai Group for the service sector, the Etihad Rail Company and EFS for facility management services, and for the industrial sector a food group and SK air conditioner M, Al Ain Cement Factory and Al Khaleej Rubber Factory, and for the construction sector, Al Ghurair Engineering Group, Concord and Saif Bin Darwish, and for the educational sector, Emiti University in Dubai, and for the commercial sector, Dalma Mall and Mikoda International Company.
